How To Get Your Entrance Looking More Modern

Modernise Your Entrance

A dated-looking entrance can really put you off a house and that’s before you even step inside it.

How do you think people speak about your house? It won’t be in the most glowing terms if your entrance underwhelms them as it can bring the whole place down.

If it could do with a makeover, get working on it! Doing so will revive your home’s kerb appeal and increase the value of the property. So, there’s a lot to gain.

Invest in a new front door

The first thing that you tend to notice when approaching an entrance is its front door and if your front door is looking old and dated, Crystal Clear has a great range of replacement doors to take its place.

Any front door bought from us will add instant kerb appeal when it’s fitted and its stunning look will rub off on the rest of the house.

Choosing a colour for the door will be hard as we have lots of finishes, including white for those who favour tradition. To get a modern aesthetic though, we suggest a grey shade. You also have the option of a dual-coloured door, with different finishes on each side of it.

Wide range of colours

Plant display

A plant or two can be enough to spruce up an entrance, which won’t cost you too much money and will still have an impact.

Your progressive homeowner likes to have topiary trees outside their front door, with one on each side of it. These trees will be beautifully trimmed and look immaculate.

Don’t go too far with door greenery and overcomplicate things – keep it simple and stick to the ‘less is more’ mantra’.

Dress your door

Door accessories

Each door range at Crystal Clear has its own suite of door furniture for accessorising your preferred design, including a superb selection of handles and door knockers.

Some of these door knockers are very traditional and feature animal faces in their styling e.g. lions’ face, but for the modern-thinkers, we also have chrome rings and bars.

To accompany your new door, you could also follow the current trend of having an oversized number plate put on the wall next to it. Alternatively to that, incorporate this into the door itself.

Finishing Touches

And that is all it takes to make your entrance something special. If you’d like to sort a new door with Crystal Clear, just request a quote.
