We take our time applying the powder-coated finishes to our aluminium doors so that they keep their appearance over many years. Corrosion isn’t something that will come to fruition as time moves on. Instead, you can look forward to a front or rear door that looks as good as new several years after installation.

Our paint application process is very meticulous. It takes no less than 11 separate stages to integrate the finish into the aluminium framework as that is what we firmly believe is necessary to make an aluminium colour last. You can go overboard with colour if you like by instructing Crystal Clear to apply a dual-finish i.e. contrasting colours on either side of the door frame.

If you have a relatively shoestring budget and want a coloured aluminium door fast, one of our “standard” colours will suffice; however, we have a total collection of over 400 colours. If you can afford to wait and don’t mind paying slightly more for the privilege, you have a much wider range of finishes available to you.

Traditional timber doors can be such hard work. Keeping on top of them is a constant job and often fruitless task. In the current day, if you’re a lover of wood, it’s far more sensible to invest in an aluminium door and have it finished in a woodgrain effect. Produced via sublimation, our woodgrain finishes in Oak, Walnut and Rosewood are quite remarkable as they exhibit all the aesthetic characteristics of wood. What they don’t share in common with wood is the propensity to lose their appearance and come second best to the weather. They’re far lower maintenance than that. A swift wipe down with a wet cloth should be sufficient to clean the colour and make it glisten in the sunshine.

Not everybody chooses to have plain glass inserted into any glazed sections within their aluminium door, at least not when they find out that Crystal Clear also offers a range of patterned and textured backing glass.
