How To Get Your Home Looking Christmassy For The Festive Season
If you’re not feeling in the Christmas spirit, the likelihood is that you haven’t decorated your house yet as that always puts us in a festive mood.
Change that today and get the place looking all Christmassy in advance of Santa’s arrival.
It can be done in an hour or two if you have a few helpers in the house, and it wouldn’t be right without some Christmas tunes playing in the background.
If you want to do more than just put the traditional Christmas tree up, Crystal has some great ideas to share:
Install an upside-down Christmas tree
On many social media accounts, it appears that some people are taking pictures of their Christmas trees upside-down. Only they’re not. They’re actually upside-down.
Trees have been hung from the ceiling by many high-profile celebs, including Ariana Grande, something that was a religious idea back in the Middle Ages.

Illuminate your staircase
Don’t leave out your stairs when putting up your Christmas lights.
Your bannister could be covered with an all-natural garland complete with fairy lights over its entire length, and you could wrap little garlands around the stair rails, hanging a stocking from one of the rails.
Then on each of the steps, have a little Christmas box in the corner of them, perhaps filled with some treats for Christmas morning.
Wrap your front door to look like a present
Get your Christmas wrapping done early and don’t just wrap your presents, but also your front door.
Do it as a refreshing change to the usual door wreath, purchasing some suitable coloured fabric, a large bow, duct tape and a heavy duty magnet.
Once cut to size, wrap the door with the fabric and tape it down. So that the large bow doesn’t slip after being applied, use the heavy duty magnet to keep it secure.
